Dolly Parton's Imagination Library Comes to the Concho Valley

Established by country music legend Dolly Parton, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is an international program that mails free books monthly to children from birth to the age of 5.  United Way of the Concho Valley is thrilled to bring Dolly Parton's Imagination Library to children 0-5 years of age in the Concho Valley. A priority at UWCV is to ensure all children are school-ready by kindergarten and grade-level readers by 3rd grade.  Studies show early literacy is important to the success of a child and even adulthood.  Dolly Parton's Imagination Library is an excellent tool to help get books into the hands of children at an early age and start encouraging the importance of reading.

UNITED WAY WILL HAVE A LAUNCH PARTY ON MARCH 12, 2024

United Way of the Concho Valley will hold a Launch Party for registration on Tuesday, March 12.  This is a family-friendly event and we will have books, snacks, and registration available for everyone.  More details to come soon.

ABOUT DOLLY PARTON'S IMAGINATION LIBRARY

The Imagination Library mails more than 1.7 million high-quality, age-appropriate books each month to registered children from birth to age five. Dolly envisioned creating a lifelong love of reading, inspiring them to dream.
